Our programmes, led by industry experts, are designed to reflect a real working environment and are focused on developing ‘industry-ready’ talent. We are focused on developing the talents of our participants through intensive blended learning programmes built on:
- facilitating challenge-based and project-based learning and assessment
- promoting teamwork and collaborative working methods
- nurturing creativity and creative problem-solving
- fostering the conditions to support entrepreneurship
Through all of our programmes we place a great emphasis on participants gaining practical real world experience working within the industry through our industry partner programme. WebElevate and WebInnovate programme participants have the opportunity to work in multi-disciplinary teams working on real world digital projects for industry partners or in some cases participants’ own digital product or service.
Nothing will prove your abilities more than the results you demonstrate through rising to this challenge. Our graduates finish their programmes with proof of their capabilities ready to display to potential employers.
With such a refreshing approach major players like The IDA, Ernst & Young, Oracle, BT Ireland, Digiweb, Electric Ireland, as well as really smart start-ups like Soundwave and Redeem & Get have lined up to work with our participants. In fact, over 80 companies and organisations have done so in just the last two years, leading to the development of some exciting new digital innovations.
Strong Connections to Industry
Our passionate lecturers and mentors are hand-picked from industry to develop and deliver innovative programmes that are closely aligned to the needs of industry.
We also collaborate with industry to help employers recruit graduates directly from our programmes. We customise the hiring process by working directly with companies to evaluate and identify the skills they need, and help them to connect with graduates that match their requirements.
We have a dedicated Career Manager to help you plan your career.
All programmes include workshops in CV Preparation and Interview Techniques. Participants will work with our Careers Manager to optimise CVs for specific target roles and employers. We maintain a database of labour market intelligence and publish job opportunities to an online noticeboard for participants. Our Careers Manager seeks to match participants to opportunities, and support participants in managing their own job search targets and schedules. This support will also be offered for a period of 3 months after programme completion.
