Digital Skills Academy CEO to address First Tanzania ICT Summit 2013

Paul Dunne, CEO of Digital Skills Academy is to address the First Tanzania ICT Summit 2013, which will promote ICT sector links between Ireland and Tanzania and share Ireland’s experiences as a global hub for ICT.

Taking place in Dar es Salaam on the 19th – 20th November, the First Tanzania ICT Summit will focus on the ‘ICT Skills of Tomorrow’. The event has been organised by the Embassy of Ireland, in association with Dublin Institute of Technology, the Institute of Finance Management (IFM) and the Tanzanian Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH).

The Summit will examine how the ICT Industry can work closely with education providers to meet the skills needs of the Tanzanian ICT Industry.

An ‘ICT Skills Needs Report for the Tanzanian ICT Industry’, recently produced by Dublin Institute of Technology and IFM, will be launched during the first day of Summit.
